Just re-read your post. Just make sure your battery is secure. No floor mats/ANYTHING in the car, at all. Wouldn't worry about the carpet. They will check your wheel bearings, controls, battery and a few other things. Maybe bring some blue painters tape if you have some.

Every event I have been to they want you to run. If there is a problem they try to get it fixed and get you out there. You are in a good location, maybe not for size but definitely for quality.

depending on how closely your competitors check out your ride... the carpet and sound deadening will have to be replaced to run in either stock or ST, not sure how the trans will affect your class since I'm not really up on the update/back date thing...

a couple of yrs ago the STS national championship was taken away because of a few pounds of sound deadening...

who cares if your car is competitive straight out of the box...YOU won't be.

Many of the local clubs are fairly mellow about little things. I wouldn't worry too much, unless you start winning or competing in the divisionals.

If you really want to stay under the radar just run in one of the fun run classes.

daytonaer, I hope to make it to the Arnot and (formerly)Pyramid mall Glen events in june. And I hope to make it to all but the first snyr events, especially at TC3. I have lots of exsperiance driving fast in those lots, along with 2 degrees. It is just a matter of how many Sundays I can afford to take off

As far as blue tape, probly not a good idea on a blue car. Plain white/cream masking tape?

Thanks for the advice.

The TC3 event is the same day as my original wedding date I wonder If I could talk her into moving it back up and holding it at the autoX. After all that is where we first met...
