Want to run multiple forms of motorsport across multiple venues all in just one long weekend? That is the premise behind SCCA Targa in 2025.
SCCA Targa includes elements of track, autocross and road rally. Entries can include as many crew members that can fit in a car, but two must be license…

I'm tentatively adding Targa Southland to my calendar. Looks like a good time.

This sounds like awesome fun! Hopefully one comes to the PNW
I thought the original Targa sounded fun. I'm glad to see it's back. I wish they had something in the Northeast so I could participate! Disappointing that the Time Trials National Tour and Targa are both not coming to New England (again).
That does sound pretty cool!

A Northeast/New England Targa would be awesome. Especially in the fall. Sorry, my inner leaf peeper is coming out.

Searching SCCA.com, it appears the 2016 Targa event carried a $395 entry fee. That would have been only slightly more than Hotrod Drag Week of the same era. I think DW was $500 or $550 this year? It will be interesting to see what these Targa events cost.
Im going to do at least one. I just need to see how they do classes to decide what car to bring.

It's One Lap of America for people who are more interested in the track time than soul-crushing transits :)

Man, I wish they had done this years ago. We tried for a 2019 repeat when I had a car and the interest. We never could get any interest at the national level. The SCCA always seems to be too little, too late for me.
In reply to Keith Tanner :
Having Run the One Lap in 85, following Snoadgrass and Lindamood a crossed the country, pulling Rocky and his Silver Ghost out of a snow bank in Montana, we have been looking for that ONE LAST HURRAH.
June 2025 is on the calendar

Hey, whatever floats your boat. I'm not judging. I hope you have a great time. 1985 was the TSD era for One Lap, wasn't it? Seriously long distances.
Targa Newfoundland (a different event than these SCCA Targas) was about 25% closed stages when I ran it. That's the sort of transit/race balance I prefer :)
