So the other day we(my wife and I) were putting our daughter in the back of the P71 and my wife was a little fluster'd with the every tired child. Long story short she pull the seat belt all the way out.(I did not know until I got home) So pretty much the seat belt will retrack manully.
It dose retrack a little bit on its own but not much. I pull'd the seat belt out a couple of times....is this a problem that will fix it self?
thanks for putting up with my spelling.
It's probably twisted or binding against the seat in some way, not hard to do. I assume this is the retractor under the seat, if so the best thing to do is remove the lower seat cushion and see if it's twisted or hung up. If it's the shoulder harness retractor, that's a bit more difficult to get to. I've seen pieces of paper, Coca Cola, coins, all kinds of crap in retractors.
In reply to Jensenman:
There is nothing bound up in the retractor (its in the trunk), thats the weird part. the retractor is in the tunk.
