My current daily driver is a 2010 Mazda6 Grand Super Top of the line Touring or whatever package.  It has the 3.7 v6 which is actually fun to drive but man is it thirst (~18mpg average) with combined back roads and highway driving.  It has just over 162,000 miles and it's getting rusty and I'm worried about its long term reliability.  Pros is that its a car which makes commuting easy.  It's comfy with heated leather seats and all the do dads minus a backup camera.

Enter truck.  I use my FIL's trucks quite a bit for light towing, parts pickup, etc.  I use a truck and want to have another one.  What I don't want is a $50k F150 or even a $40k Ranger.  I've found this truck: Canyon Although it's not a ton newer and doesn't have a lot less miles, it seems to be much better cared for than the last owner of my current DD.  Pretty much no rust on this truck but I'll inspect much closer as the frames on these are bad for rust.

WWGRM do?  I feel like the truck would be a good compromise to not spend a fourtune while also getting a decent truck.

I like the looks of those but don't know much about them. Seems like the Honda Ridgeline is in a similar price point on CL in your area. Might be worth comparing

When I was doing similar DD shopping for a midsize truck I landed on a Nissan Frontier. In the time I have had it, besides getting not great gas mileage, I have enjoyed it. Not a fancy truck but it checked all the boxes I was looking for in a truck at the time.
