I stumbled across some photos of these shift knobs made by this guy in the UK and thought they were pretty creative. This guy takes old skateboards and makes these shift knobs and some other things. I has asked him to make a green on with the correct M12 thread. It arrived last week. Spent way too much for something so simple but I really like it. Basically Hungary Bill funded this little present to me and he doesn't even know it. THANKS!!

That's effing awesome.
I need to get one of my cars nice enough that I could enjoy small upgrades like that.
Now, how about a steering wheel wrapped in vans suede, grip tape pedals, and some sweet orange plastic deck rails as an accent (I could see sill protectors, a dead pedal, accents on the dash or maybe replacing the hold down chrome pieces around the shift boot)?
My Dart has a column shifted automatic, and now I want to cut threads in the shifter handle so I can add a shifter knob that's that awesome.
That is officially the first time a project of mine has funded ANYTHING, yet alone another project! 
That is really cool!
I used an old skateboard where as the knob on my B&M ratchet shifter back in the day. Not nearly as cool as that artwork.
