So, swmbo had a minor off this morning and a curb was hit. Seems the only thing really damaged was the ac compressor. The skid plate was jammed up against it and ac oil was all over. Is this particularly heinous to swap out? It looks fairly straightforward. It's all accessible from underneath. I have a source for Ford parts so I should be able to get a good deal on parts, then a recharge?
Thanks!
I'm going to assume it's the 2.0L Duratec. Looks pretty straightforward according to the FSM. No significant steps to prepare for removal apart from removing the AC belt. Disconnect electrical connectors and lines, then remove the A/C compressor bolts (25Nm). Looks like some of the bolts fasten both a shield and the compressor. Let me know if you need any specific info.
In reply to enginenerd:

Do you have the service manual? I have a 2013 and I keep trying to download the manual from FocusFanatics but I can't get it to work
I have the 2013 manual if you need it.

Yeah! I'm sure the 2013 is similar enough a lot of the info would be good. All I really need is the ac stuff at this point anyhow

Would love it! Is it a PDF?
Is Ford still using 134A or have they switched to 1234 refrigerant? That E36 M3 is crazy expensive!
I know it's 134a on my 2013 ST.
It's a zip that contains what's essentially a local HTML webpage. Just unzip and open "2012 - 2013 Focus Workshop Manual.htm" (should be the same through at least 2018 model cars for major stuff).
PM me and I'll send you the share link.
