Its ohio just skip the window and wear approved sunglasses. Throw a small block and a stick in it and have a blast. Why cover it with a body!
the quick change is the biggest reason i picked this up. always wanted one and know it's worth quite a bit more than i paid for the whole roller.
aztek and rendezvous wheelbase being different is strange, never saw that one coming. the buick is 112". plus with a salvage title, the buick could never see the street as i'm pretty sure if i hacked up the body and pinned it to this chassis the highway patrol salvage title inspector would flip me the bird and turn me away.
So the Roadkill guys did what you are planning, except they started with a complete stock car and hacked the body off.

I would wonder the junk yard and look for something to body it with. With scrap so low I bet a couple hundred gets you somthing and at my local yard they will have a title for it. Since you are looking for badicly a shell only your choices would be huge. I could see a Saab or a late model jag or an escort or any number of Honda or Toyotas that would be fun. Hoe about a Merc of some sort. Or a jeep could be fun.

while that would be hot as berkeley, shipping a shell from cali to ohio would suck.
was almost thinking older luxury car. the rendezvous is tempting but it could only ever be a non street vehicle because the salvage title. the other three titled bodies i have around are a 1968 chevy truck, a 92 regular cab chevy truck and a 1990 chevy extended cab truck. the 68's floor is rotted to heck but the front clip is decent, bedsides usable to hack up. the 90 is a complete roller and i have a bed. the 92 cab is crap and the front clip is crap and it's only around because i can't get crap for it. i don't really fit well in the 68's cab but raising the floor and kicking a pedal box out in the firewall to give more legroom could be an answer.
while thinking about things, i might have an answer sitting a few hours away. gotta drop someone an email.

words cannot describe the beauty
Could an e28 BMW be sectioned to match the wheelbase easy enough? It seems like any body you put on this thing will require enough cutting that only junk should be considered. Well, junk with a VIN and title...
the one i'm thinking is junk in the floors and around the rear wheels, which is perfect. it would make cutting out the floors and moving the rear wheel openings forward easier. i'll see what happens.
the best thing about it is it's way old, and the title is probably still in my name as i traded it to someone and it's been in the same place for a couple years.
93+ jeep grand cherokee is 105"" wb. And soccer mom. Challenge aproved ! A pick up body could be cool and maybe not too hard to fit

i've done that before. i built a 40 chevy truck on a circle track tube chassis, then sold it when we had our son because i had an abundance of 2 seat vehicles. this is the only picture i can find right now, the bed was disassembled for loading up. it had weight jacks at all 4 corners, huge splined front sway bar, 3 link rear, 350/th350.

There were a lot of circle modifieds that looked like that. Only with race car paint jobs.
Never thought they would look like that with a nice paint job.
