I went with our son to get this GSR. Weird story. A guy turbo charged his wife's car 15 years ago, blew it up, she was so angry, she left him & took the title & left the car with him. His story anyway.
It's in surprisingly good shape for sitting that long. We took good wheels & tires to tow it. He wants to restore it back to stock (non turbo). He got the signed title from her so it's all legal.

Him & his room mates have 8 Honda's between them.

Neat, but the first year GSR was a 1992 ...

Oops, I meant '94 was the first year of the "real" GSR - B18C1.
Very nice car.
Had a B17 Aztec Green GSR purchased new. That was the first Integra GSR model in the USA. Had a Captiva Blue Pearl DA as well.
Congrats to your son. I sold my 4 door 2001 GSR to another GRM member here. B18C motors are great cars.
Looks like the car is in good company!

Fairly sure that there were other issues with that marriage before he blew up the motor, but hey who am I to judge?
Good lookin car, other than the return to stock are there any plans?

We have a nice intake (to get rid of the clam shell 2 stage) & header for the B18C1 & a fully ported head with 1mm bigger valves. Might increase the compression to 12:1 to be more ITR-ish. Need some ITR/CTR cams.

Yes there are 3 turbo Civics there & 2 K Swaps. The 318 is also getting a turbo K24. With Hondata tuning now it's easy to keep them alive longer.
I'm going to need more information on your tow vehicle, because that is spectacular.

So you're saying your son and friends don't like torque?
When I first moved to the US my employer ordered me a company car, a 2000 Jeep Grand Cherokee. While I was waiting for the order to process and the Jeep to show up I asked the lady who controlled these things if she had any turned in vehicles to loan me. Her answer was " There's a E36 M3 bucket red Honda behind the Tech Center". "OK, I'll drive that until mine comes in." "You won't like it. It rides terrible". It turned out to be a GSR on modified suspension that one of the senior VPs had been driving. For the next month commuting to work was a riot. I tried to get her to let me keep it but she was having none of it. The Jeep was nice.....just not the same.
Your son ought to really enjoy this after returning it to stock, just rev the living daylights out of it constantly.

Dang, the green B17 GS-R is the unicorn. Also, how come the DC2 GS-R never received a GS-R badge?
On my second gsr personally. White 92 and the 4 dr mentioned above. Both went over 200K miles with a lot of time above 7K. Great find.

This looks like an updated version of the Toretto house in F&F 1.

Now that you mention it, yeah, it does have that F&F1 vibe....
This makes me miss my first car. It was a bone stock automatic RS sedan with nearly 300,000 miles, the A/C didn't work and the driver's window didn't roll down, but I still think it was pretty fun to scoot around in as a new driver.
Maybe someday I'll shop around for a GS-R sedan to tool around with, or maybe even import a Type R sedan from Japan if I'm really feeling spicy.
