I'm writing a paper for a Latin American history class. My topic is the effect of the trade embargo with Cuba on their personal transportation and how that reflects in their culture and methods in auto mechanics.
Anyone have any thoughts on where I might obtain good sources? A documentary would be amazing. 
I know at least a decade ago, 60 minutes or similar show did a news piece somewhat related to this topic. It focused on the fact of the trade embargo with the US and how cars are still 50's era caddys and chevys. I also seem to remember how people were coming into the country to purchase these rolling wrecks and exporting them back to whereever.

I couldn't remember the name of the documentary, but I have seen this one. Its a good watch and should give you some great insight Taiden.
Yeah, like that dude and his son relining brake shoes in their backyard hut-with asbestos!
Sweet, looks like it is on Netflix streaming, watching when I get home.
Yank Tanks is a cool documentary. 
It's amazing what some of those guys do to keep those cars on the road. That scene with the dude hand-sifting asbestos for brake linings blew my mind!
Then there's the guy that re-chromes stuff. The guy is in his 80's and still breathing in those deadly chemicals every day. I'd love to see what some of those guys could do with the stuff that's lying around here in people's backyards.
