V8 Jags were a not-so-uncommon conversion back in the 70's. I remember seeing swap kits in the classifieds in the back of R&T, and a buddies dad had a Mark 2 with a Chevy 350 in it. Way cool.

Given the price of E types these days I am surprised anyone still dares to do it though.

Still gorgeous.

I saw many cool things for sale down there. Most were rock crawlers and off roaders.

Its an evil place.

Jag V8 swaps got pretty common for a while. Most were Ford 302 Windsor motors because they would fit between the stock subframe rails, the SBC required subframe modifications. I lubs coupes like this one, 2+2's not so much.

"Always liked the lines of these cars. " Understatement of the century.
