I noticed on the Jeep site that they have a range of Special Editions available.
Like the TrailHawk.
Most are more than the tape-striped "rallye" packages GM was famous for. I wish more manufacturers would come out with these kind of special editions. And what ever happened to ACR editions and trunk kits and cool stuff like that?
Jeep is sort of a special case though. Rabid enthusiasts that leap at every special edition and snap them up despite somewhat rediculous price tags. Its one of those brands that has its own car shows and its own monthly national magazine.
Not saying it wouldn't work for other vehicles, but what works for jeep definitely doesn't always make good business sense for other manufacturers.
They should offer a special "Deathwish Edition"
