Nice car, even cooler story! I wish I had my dad's 240Z that he bought new.

I had a 240 and 280 'back in the day'... great cars. One more on the list of cars I'd love to build again!

Didn't they do that a few years ago?
I owned a '71 240 once. A little cash and a whole lot of dreams. Unfortunately my eyes were bigger than my toolbox and wallet at the time and she ended up leaving my garage on a flatbed.
Man, if I owned that car now...
Friend/co-worker’s ‘78 280 with my Z(4).
It was fun lining them up side by side. The 280 was longer (stupid US bumpers) but had a shorter wheelbase and narrower track.
Also, when did rain gutters on cars go away?
