I have been doing car stuff very sporadically lately due to other life stuff, and I just ordered a new EGR valve yesterday. Price didn't increase with the craziness couple of days which is nice, but I have no idea if the part is in stock. Email receipt gave an estimated delivery date of 4/13, so we'll see. I ordered from an online store run by Flow Chevrolet in Winston Salem NC.
My wife did one trip 60 miles each way, and had no issues running on gas other than CEL. All other use has been electric.
Grrr... Flow Chevrolet decided to send me someone else's core return instead of a "new" (reman) unit.
They were very apologetic, and said they would try to get one from a local dealer's inventory if they were willing to part with it. Otherwise they would cancel the order and refund the payment.
So, no timeline to get the EGR fixed.
Did take the wife to Carmax to look at a Prius Prime and Civic...
