I've typed this post twice and deleted it twice as I don't want this to be taken the wrong way. As the title says I mean this only as a good natured tease.
Just read Tim's editorial about advertising in this months issue. He writes "A video I wanted to watch was surrounded by false advertising" After finishing the article I thought to my self "well said Tim". Then I turned the page and see the advert for the now canceled 2020 SEMA show......
I can only guess at the mess COVID has created for maintaining deadlines for publishing GRM. It made me chuckle and thought I would share.

Covid has created some real challenges for business owners.
Depending on the source of the ad, using an Ad Blocker can really help out. So for ads that Youtube or Google or whatever decides that you should see, the blocker will end that. Users can tune the blockers, too- so for this site, I have the ad blocker off- as virtually all of the ads that I see on this page are related to THIS WEBSITE. Which is pretty rare. Or just a good switch that the website owners turn on when they get ads.
More than once on other forums, I've asked the owners on the public forum to edit the ads that they get- as most of them are not good- either some BS ad, or worse- an ad that slows the site to a crawl due to its size (bonus hate points for one that have sound).
Anyway, I blanket most sites with an ad blocker. GRM is specifically not one of them.
The covid has been wild for about any business.
