I do. Better economy, better performance, better steering feel, less weight, less systems to maintain etc. we almost bought a 2wd Yukon in '06 when we got our Sierra. we went with the truck then because it was $4k difference.

Yeah, unless you need it for snow travel like I do (mandatory state employee, you don't get sent home early and you are required to get there!) a 2wd makes way more sense for the reasons stated above.

The only 4wd I have ever owned was the old Grand Vitara we had many years ago. Even then, we "needed" 4wd about twice. One of those was offroading in Arizona.

We've been running around in 1-wheel peelers for decades in Indiana winters and have never been stuck. Just takes patience, weight and a light touch on the skinny pedal.
