Local guy had a Series II N/A 3800 Impala in the 13's for next to nothing (same engine in our 01 GT). All the GTP's are low-13's to low 12's. We also have Dave Wild, who had an 11-second Buick GS (3800SC) that looked *completely* stock. He's building a turbo motor for it now for the 10's and possibly 9's. Great engines with massive potential (hell, they used them with a turbo in the GNX!)
Any details on the N/A car? Our 3.8L Regal can't hold a candle the intrigue with the 3.5L that it replaced.

I am really intrigued by doing one up right, but my wife has decided she wants a wagon, so I think I'll be getting my 850 T5 sedan back. I'll be concentrating on that instead of getting a new car.
Still, a 12 second Park Avenue...

A real CAI (and removed headlight when drag racing) that was homemade, JY 3500 stall converter, shift kit, tuner (nice one, dyno tuned), small cam, cat-back.

In a 3800 supercharging process, the crankshaft has to turn belt which runs the charger.

I like the engine but the cars gm choose to install them in all suck. There great in a fiero though lol
For my money I like the tunderbird SC ,RWD,Manual trans available and its intercooled all things the GM products are lacking
Aftermarket see:
www.intense-racing.com
www.3800performance.com
www.thrashercharged.com
and costly but effective:

I'm a GM 3.8 N/A and 3.8 S/C fan
Can anyone list out the best 3800 engine repair centers?
