So I have had a 240sx sitting in a barn. It is beat to hell. I bought it for $100 and hauled it out to the barn.
As soon as I got it, I dropped an RB20 into it and got all the wiring done, and then realized it probably wasn't going to be street legal. I want the 240 to be a Sunday driver, so I'm waiting to find a decent S13 rolling chassis which is hard because punk ass kids like to drift them until they go snap. There are still plenty of good scrapable parts left and I got the $100 worth in wires alone. The engine will drop and plug into an S13, so It shouldn't be too much of a task when it comes down to do the dirty.
Problem is the barn is going to come down and I need to make things happen. I'm OK with pulling the engine and good parts before scrapping the chassis. A small pile would probably be OK in the pole barn, but that isn't up to me.
Should I offer to drop cash to build another pole barn? I plan on building out there and this would act as my garage in the future. I'm leaning away from that option due to my financial situation. We are working on eliminating debt, not creating it. We are doing excellent at that, though. Thoughts?
