Howdy! Along with our cheerful turbo V6 Honeybadger Miata, Texas A&M Racing plans on bringing a second car this year. Shortly after the $2012 Challenge we drove to Dallas to pick up a 'gently' used 1989 5.0 Mustang. We are very excited about our new build and we expect that like the Honeybadger, this Mustang will be quite apathetic.

No fun story, no drama, no stupid idea, no killer deal...where's the beef? This thread is off to a slooooow start.

At least no one will be able to sabotage your roof on this one.
Hey not every car can have a pound of Heisenberg Blue and a severed big toe in it when you pick it up! We did get some really good tamales out of it though. And we are still very thankful for the Texas A&M Disaster Relief Fund...
We removed the engine last weekend for some maintenance. The previous owner had a very liberal interpretation of recommended service intervals. The engine no longer leaks oil because so much old oil has congealed around the block that it has formed a protective seal.
We are putting the car on a serious diet. Unfortunately our workforce is bribed with a large donut supply, so the same cannot be said of them.
We will post some progress pics ASAP
