I don't suppose anyone from Texas or there abouts is headed to the Challenge? I have a tote of tools that was going to get picked up there, but that fell through. Alternatively, anyone from the Michigan/Ohio/Indiana area could work as I head up there a couple of times a year.
I'm in Chicago, so that might work as a backup for you. Close to i80 even.
I sure I can even find a way to use some of the tools while I have them so they don't get lonely.

I'm in Houston but make it out to San Antonio for rallycross and up north of Dallas for track stuff. I know that only covers about the east 1/3 of the state, but also most of the people. 
If you're coming across 10 I can offer you a place to sleep in the Grosh (with AC and a very nice bed in the upstairs) about 25 minutes off the freeway if you need a halfway point. Or I can meet you.
I'm in Rockwall. Wife's brother and nephew are in Houston.
