Thanks to moto, I've decided on a V8 4Runner, what do I need to know?

I have nothing much to add other than I hate SUV's, except for the 4th gen 4Runners. I have been researching these hard lately as I have a youngin' on the way. I just bought a 04 Tacoma Trd Double Cab in June and love it. Wondering which one would be best for what I need. Oh, and I love it when Irish44J post pics of his 4Runner, that's what I would buy. Thanks alot for the links Irish, now I am researching 3M vinyl wrap that I came across. Like I need more things to spend money on Anyway, 4th gen 4Runners are awesome and tough.

The v8 4runner is looking nicer and nicer.....

Not all v8s all years were full time 4wd, there are some 2wd v8s I think in the earlier years.

Also 08 and later models had an optional locking rear diff for even more off-road fun.
