Yes, this century was 15 years old before I bought a car made during it.
I edited in prices. Seems every "nice"or "expensive " vehicle I've ever had was a rolling E36 M3 box, while the beaters have been great. Hmm..

I'm 62, and have tended to drive my boring cars as long as they run. That comes from being poor. Short list for my age.
1960 Plymouth Suburban, 2 door wagon, 225 with 3 on the tree
1967 Impala wagon, 283 with a glide
1967 Dart GT, 225 auto
1973 Cheyenne Super, 3/4 ton 454 with a turbo 400. Beast of a truck.
1978 Caprice wagon. 305/turbo 350
1979 LTD, first year of the panther. 302/C4, with a 2.26:1 rear end gear. Drove it from 86 to 2000, three engines, two transmissions. Got hit, or I might still own it.
1985 Legacy 4x4 wagon, na engine with a 5 speed. Lots of firsts for me: first import, overdrive, 4x4. That's when Subaru still made cars with a true 4x4. Best deal I ever got, married the owner. Car's long gone, wife's still here, and is the joy of my life. From here on, the list is for two drivers.
1993 XJ, Cherokee County.
1993 Crown Victoria. Was lusting after another panther for my wife to drive. Good choice, when she was hit head on two months later.
1995 P71 to replace the 93. Great car, drove it as my commuter car all over West Florida, then gave it to my dad.
2000 Tacoma 4x4. 3.4/5 speed with an Eaton TRD blower. Fun to launch in 4 high, it was pretty quick to about 100.
2000 Odyssey. Had our first child, and the baby seat wouldn't fit in the back of the Tacoma. She got the van, I got her P71, and I sold the Tacoma and my boats. First of three vans. Transmission started to feel questionable, traded in for...
2005 Odyssey.
1993 Ranger 4x4. Beater from the auction, sold it to my wife's dad, then inherited it back.
1999 Accord coupe, F23/5 speed. Inherited from my mil.
1995 Accord wagon. Good car, except for the automatic transmission. Traded in for my current DD...
2004 Lancer Ralliart wagon. Eight years, and is the most trouble free car I've owned. Surprisingly fun to drive. Our other two current cars are...
2004 Sienna. Wife loves her vans, I'm over Honda's automatic transmissions.
1988 Silverado RCLB. 350/700R4. Rust free, California, Texas and Florida truck. Somewhere between 300 and 400k miles and still running great.
1997 Nissan 240SX
1991 BMW 318is
1990 Nissan 300ZX
1993 Mercedes-Benz 190E 2.6
Wish List:

'88 Mazda 323 GTX ex-production gt stage rallycar. Held together with rust and Bondo. Blew the rings out, had Corksport do a 1.8l BPT swap, ran in Open class and got into the under 7 min club on the Brooklyn Tavern stage. Early apexed a tree on Oregon Trail rally the following year.
