I'll watch.. not sure what to expect out of it - but gotta say the man show was the best tv out there (util Adam and Jimmy left).

As for 2 Guys Garage - thats just painful to watch- I went a couple years without cable and when I got it, I added 2 guys garage to my dvr to record not knowing they replaced the 2 orginal guys who wern't to bad with whatever they got now - that show is ruined. Guess I need to get TG USA a chance - I saw the 1st one and it was so akward to watch I gave up.

I was hoping some of Carolla's high school friends would make the cut - "The Professor" Sandy Ganz is a great foil for Adam, he's got a softer edge to his humor and he's technically pretty knowledgable (IIRC he's an electrical engineer by vocation).

The Carcast episode about cousin Donnie and his Bronco was great.

I believe this is quite possibly the only thing we have ever agreed on. His voice goes thru me like a symphony of Fran Dresher laughing.

I got my hopes up for TG US, i guess thats why I was alittle disapointed. I do think US got alot better towards the end. Im more impressed with the line up of The Car Show. I like the Adam Carolla both on the man show and on Carcast. He has car cred. and personality. I like Matt Farrah from the smoking tire. knowledgible and tv presents. And the oher two guys. one is an automotive journalist. and the other worked on that best damn sports show.

cant wait till the 13th

LOL no, I'm pretty certain I'm sane. It is the TV producers that need a reality check. They keep pumping out mediocre crap with lack luster talent and saddest is the general population accepts it & even think they like it shudder

Then you, sir, have a very serious brain deformity. You may want to get that looked at.

Agreed. Once they develope their own chemistry and report, the show will improve. The Alaska espisode really showed what could happen when they were in a more relaxed environment. The studio parts are definitely where they need work as those parts really came across as scripted and rigid.

Two Guys Garage? Isn't that show an infomercial?

Two Guys Garage is an infomercial. Nothing wrong with that - it is what it is. That one crazy Perry Farrell lookin' dude is good though. Someone should put him on a car show.

I appreciate that Adam might be a great car guy and even funny, but I don't really want to see or hear him - guess in my mind that leaves him with a face for radio and a voice for print.

+1 Didn't Keith post their price list a while back...pay X to appear on the show, pay Y to have us mention your product by name, Z to talk about it for longer than...

I like Adam Corolla. I though the man show was funny, I like his podcast, and I hope this show will be funny. I appreciate that he actually has some personality. I guess I can see how he could be annoying to some, but I don't take entertainment that seriously, I just try to enjoy it. I made it through TGUSA that way. Besides, if you watched closely, Corolla always drank more beer during the filming of the man show than Jimmy.

well, I'll try to remember to give tg-usa another look. I couldn't get through any of the first four episodes so I left it to die... Hoping for something more entertaining and slightly more original in The Car show, though admittedly Corolla is, outside of man show, is not my favorite either and neither is Matt Farrah, I dont know who the other two guys are

I'm looking forward to it. Although Adams voice IS abrasive, I dig his taste in cars, and he knows his stuff (usually).

ANYTHING on SPEED that is NOT NASCAR is a very good thing. I miss the "Saturday Night Drive-In

Just piping in that I'm a huge Carolla fan. Started listening to him as a teenager on the radio and have been a fan ever since. His car knowledge is pretty good, and I like that he likes some real turd buckets along with some beautiful cars...he can appreciate things for what they are because he's lived life through many levels most of us won't. He's also pretty damn funny when he's allowed to just make jokes and be funny. At times, his lack of real car knowledge shows, but if you don't get into the technical details too deep he does pretty good.

With that said, SPEED is a tough sell on my cable network. I have to get the "premium" package to see it, and for the two hours a week I'd actually watch SPEED, it's hard to justify the $30/month upcharge. Most of the stuff on SPEED makes me ill, I really miss the days of Speedvision!

I'll also be counted as an Adam Carolla fan. His shamefully-under-promoted movie The Hammer was really good.

Did you actually WATCH the whole season of TGUS??? If TGUK didn't exist, it would easily be the best of the car shows on US TV. It drives me nuts when people are blindly contrarian. It was a more-than-decent show.

As for Carolla, I'll season pass it blindly. He has great taste in cars and is a funny bastard to boot.

Try starting with the fifth. That's when it started improving.

I like Adam Carolla too. I remember him back in the days when he was at KROQ radio here in L.A. with Jimmy Kimmel as the sports Guy and Adam played a character called Mr. Birchum, where people would call in and ask advice on home improvements and what not. I think he's back again at KROQ once a week doing "this week in rage" where he rants about anything. I really hope the car show will be good and not another infomercial.
