I have an engine/trans to put back in the saab.. but the gage says it is 110 in the garage.. so you can guess that it is just sitting on the bench, waiting for cooler days while I soak in the pool to stay cool

Unseasonably mild here in the SF bay area. Probably around the 70s. I like heat until I get it and start sweating.

Record heat here inthe Poconos, so I'm Banished to the air-conditioned house. No ac in the barn/garage so the car sits untouched.

And now the pickup ac has died, the compressor won't kick in and it's something beyond the ac fuses and relays. I'm sure it's going to hurt he wallet enough that the racing fund is going to be zero again.

I grew up in Mississippi where it was mid 90s and humid from May-October. I must be getting old because 98 and humid in Indy today just about did me in. The van has sat idle since May between vacation, moving in record heat, and just the heat. It's so bad I charged the A/C up in my truck so I didn't die between jobs during the day.

Ain't that the truth! I would take the heat over the cold any day. I recall seeing pictures of the North East of that winter...........you guys had it bad.

back when I was 15.. I came down with my crohnes disease... (the first flareup) and I went from 115 pounds at 5'11" to 90 pounds soaking wet. I went to a catholic school that was a real stickler for uniforms... I ran a low grade fever all winter and had teachers who hated the heat so would open the windows in the middle of a snowstorm.. but not let us wear jackets because they were not uniform...

I despise the cold from the bottom of my heart.. I would rather sweat than shiver

Looks like there is a chance of rain tonight here followed by slightly cooler temps tomorrow......mid 80s. I have heard that one before though.

I am considering purchasing a car with air conditioning.

The heat isn't as bad as the stupidity. I get to stand outside in a uniform made of the finest polyester the good people of Sri Lanka could stitch up so I am a blob of sweat and sunscreen from about 5am on. The only part that really bothers me is that about every 10 minutes some scrawny kid crawls up for the L train in too small gym shorts and a Rhinegold t-shirt I'm pretty sure my grandfather gave to Goodwill before he was concieved to tell me it's probably a crime that I make them wait as long as 12 minutes for a bus in this heat. I'd love to punt one of them back across the river but it's too hot and I don't want to get butt sweat on my new boots.

Hot, humid and dry.

Think I'll go up toTupper Lake. Much cooler there.
