Mitsubishi Starion get my vote.

Back in the day I remember seeing a new all white Nissan Pulsar sportback. It was hideous but I couldn't stop looking.

Lots of 80's goodness...the XT has got to be close to the top.

I'm gonna pick this one, because it sums up the monochrome 80's very well...and it was also the end of an era:

Hardcastle and McCormick baby!

The early 80s were a dark, dark time for automobiles. Fortunately, it all started to turn around in 1985 or so. The IROC Z was launched, the Corvette got serious, and the Mustang was finally quick again. The Japanese also started getting serious with the RX-7 GSL-SE, the Supra, and the Turbo 300Z. For me though... the 80s was ridiculous excess.

No, no, NO. Watch and learn, gentlemen. I give you... the Chrysler Reliant!

NOTHING says the "1980s" more than this.

Yes, Car and Driver put a Zimmer Quicksilver on the cover----- it turned out to be one of their worst selling issues of all time! I guess folks just weren't ready for a Fiero in a leisure suit!

Yes, most people think of them as 90s cars.. but they started production in the very late 80s

the "little" Ferrari - 308/328 was ok... but I was a fan of the "little" Lambo... the Jalpa...

The 308 was introduced in 1975. My neighbor has two 246 Dinos (In these crappy apartments in Costa Mesa), and I thought it was such an improvement in styling. It wasn't but they still are, and always will be beautiful.

Being a teenager in the 80's I always thought the Grand Am SE was a cool looking car.
