Heh..  I wonder if people now will want JANUARY production tires instead of APRIL because the mix was .08% faster...

I remember a few years back you said the rt660 235-40-17 on 9" was the tire to run.. do you feel that it was possible that size had the "ingredients" just right, and that they now have applied it to more sizes?

That was entirely based on physical sizing.

RT660 runs very wide for its marked size.  A 245/40-17 really wants to be on 10.

The 235 fits the 9" rim better, giving better response plus the minor benefits of gearing, weight and cg height.

Note that a 245 RT660 is the only 245 street tire that rubs ever so slightly on my unrolled rear fender lips.

Interesting that the 4th and 5th laps show the RT660+ at the same pace as the RE71RS.  Maybe the RT660+ does better with heat and is better for multiple laps or higher track temperatures.  72 degrees isn't all that hot.

I'm sorry to hear you're having trouble accessing GRM+ content after your payment. I'm going to contact our subscription department to track down the issue and get it resolved for you.

I'll provide an update as soon as I get one.
