I had an all stock 1995 240sx that would be worth about a zillion dollars today.
91 Ranger I gave to a friend. I'd had it a couple hours but thought about how he'd been looking for a small truck to commute to work in and passed it along. Oh well.
As others have said tho, I don't typically get a car off the list because it's working so well that I want to make money from it. But I have had a bit of regret from the Saabaru (virtual twin to OP's post) because it was working better than what's replaced it, and the small, lightweight wagon versatility is underrated.

I still dearly miss my Golf. It was a 2 door '89 GL that I'd bought from a customer, that we'd upgraded to 8v GTI suspension and front brakes. (IE bigger front bar and we swapped the 9.4 solid disks for vented - the calipers are the same, vented just uses thinner pads) The car came to me shod with Mille Miglia 14" wheels and a fresh set of AVS Intermediates, and new Blizzaks on the stock 13" wheels for winter use.
I remember it when it was good, I don't remember it when the floor was so soft that it wouldn't three-wheel anymore and instead would pop a door open. Also, I was buying a five cylinder AWD Volkswagen and it needed to go.
Likewise, I really miss the S40 that I sold to EvanB. At least I knew it went to a good home and probably wasn't going straight to VW partout hell. The handling was superb, and the brakes were phenomenally set up, and it had the best automatic programming that I'd ever experienced, and it got great fuel economy, and it had a rear wing that I realized too late was actually pretty rare. It was also a force to be reckoned with at rallycrosses, and towed a trailer very sweetly.
But, it didn't have rockers anymore and the core support area was so soft that the hood sat high because the longitudinal motor mount bracket was shoving the front up. Also, I was buying a five cylinder turbo AWD Volvo and it needed to go.
Gah, yeah. I'm bad about this too. I miss the crap out of the first E90 I bought, it was so so good when I got it and it was optioned exactly how I wanted it. 150k miles later though, it was my only car and kept having high mileage BMW problems. I was living in a duplex with only street parking though, so I couldn't really work on it, or even really accommodate an extra car, so I was doing a lot of riding my bicycle to work and bugging my friends to let me work on the car in their garage. Even my "car guy" friends were starting to lose patience with me. It finally developed a vibration on acceleration that I couldn't diagnose (pretty sure it was the DMF) and that was the point where I knew it was time to part ways. I miss the crap out of the car, but I think that if I had kept it, I would have a pretty sour memory of it.
