I know we have a lot of guys here that take pictures of abandoned or non-drivable cars sitting around throughout our towns and cities. So I thought, "Why not an entire thread dedicated to those pictures?"
My job spends a lot of time on peoples properties and driving around, so I sometimes see something of interest that I have driven by a few times.
So, post any pictures you guys find of cool or interesting cars that have been sitting around a long time, but please refrain from posting junkyard and P&P vehicles, this is for cars just sitting around the neighborhood or in your travels .
I'll start with a 75-78 Charger
A Rolls Royce Silver Shadow. Unfortunately this got towed away by the city last week.

Good idea. There's nothing like that around me, so I look forward to seeing more here.
There have been a number of "ran when parked" picture threads in the past.
Haven't seen one in a long time, so why not make a new one.
There is a really clean pinto up the street for sale.

There used to be a TVR sitting in my neighbor's backyard.
A couple of miles from my house, there is one of those R-Rs that was designed in the late '70s-early '80s for sale. It looks sort of like the car pictured (same color combo, even) but it has almost no curved lines on it...I forget what the exact model was called. It has been sitting in a driveway side a house that's also for sale.

the infamous alabama Pantera . . .no cleveland, no ZF > but the rest will buff out.
They can call that a Charger all they want, but I know a POS Cordoba when I see one!

2 MIG-21's and a MIG-23. (not the Lada) I have to drive by these beauties every day, and it almost makes me cry... They've since painted the MIG-23 and put it on display...
Theres also a MIG-15 about 45 minutes away thats privately owned, and in front of someones place of business... I may try my Hungarian on for size and see if he'll sell it

That's odd. The pic doesn't show until I quote it.

There's a mid-sized plane (DC3 size) sitting in the middle of town here behind an industrial building. I have no idea how it got there unless it was disassembled, it's a good distance from anywhere that it could have landed. I'll see if I can get pics.

I have not seen that style Illinois plates for years. Sitting since the early-to-mid 1980's?

Is it the yellow 74 model? Been on the lookout for a clean Pinto to drop my turbo motor into.

Reminds me again just how many different vehicles Chrysler has slapped the Charger name plate on.
66-67 2 door fastback,
68-70 coke bottle 2 door,
71-74 2 door,
75-78 Cordoba twin shown here,
80s FWD coupe with Daytona and Shelby versions,
and the mid 2000s 4 door sedan to present
I am no Mopar expert and just pulled those out of my head so I may be wrong and /or there may be others but damn Chrysler has used the Charger moniker a lot!

There was also a Mitsubishi one as well starting in '79.

Yes, it has a flathead. Lots of good parts left (the engine not being one of them). Too rusty to restore however.
