A)We have electric power steering fluid in stock at work. (Nissan dealer)

2)We have a Leaf (100% electric car)that needs a water pump.

On the surface, I just find these sorts of things amusing...

In the power-sourced reception tank, pretty sure.

The electric motors/power controllers are almost always liquid cooled and the batteries are generally A/C cooled. So no mystery.

I haven't heard of electric-hydraulic pumps requiring different fluid but maybe they do. Everything else required their own special fluid, after all, including GMs with Saginaw pumps, they do not take ATF or generic P/S fluid. (Almost exactly zero people in the aftermarket know this)

I didn't know that. Never messed with it. Thanks for teaching me something new today.

The new Quests and the Pathfinder/JX35 (or whatever Infiniti renamed it as), and maybe the Altima, require this fluid. Their electric power steering isn't like the other Nissan setups--it's electric, but still has some sort of pump that isn't belt driven. Weird.

The big gasket things on Nissan Altima manifolds show up in the catalog as exhaust bearings.

Oh, and blinker fluid DOES exist.
