It does look like a pretty clean E21, but...did they really need to paint EVERYTHING white?
Also, are 320iS's really that rare?

No, they're not that rare and it's not worth that much money. But that white on white with the Zender kit are straight out of a magazine article circa 1985, hilarious. I think it's a sad case of thinking the car is worth what the owner put into it, not reality based.

No. He's probably one of those sellers that won't sell at a loss. So all those "upgrades" it's got, he is just passing the cost over to you to get his money back
That is the worst looking BMW I've seen in a long, long time. I am not an E21 hater by any means, but the monochromatic look is so wrong. The only cars that should be monochromatic are S class Mercedes coupes, and only if your name is Sonny orTubbs.
He's smoking crack. My e21 320i was $200 with full original interior, running, and just a few small rust spots. A few things and a decent paint job and it will look better than that one (which won't be hard, since that one is 80s-tastic ugly...)
The only e21 I could possibly think is worth that asking price is a euro 323is in pretty much mint condition.
You're all wrong about the looks. That thing is Cocaine Cowboy Fantastic.
The price is wrong, the looks are awesome.
Asking price and what its worth are two differnet things, its only worth what ever a buyer is willing to pay.
I don't mean to highjack this post but since your talking BMWs I just found this on CL http://youngstown.craigslist.org/cto/4449591270.html

Is that a Florida plate on that Ohio Car?

Look at the tree moss in pic #4. FL for sure.
If those went through an auction I bet those prices wouldn't be far off.
But then buyers at auctions are berkeleying goofy.
The E30 320is Italian/Portuguese market car actually is that rare. It's S14 2L powered, but in a standard body shell. Actually faster than the US market E30 M3 in a straight line.
But this isn't it. Seller is either confused, or trying to pull a fast one.
