This is How it Starts

I'm outside yesterday with the boy and I decided to pop a new air filter into the FR-S. He is, of course,  watching everything I do.

The nut drivers I'm using are 15 year old Hazard Fraught, so the size markings on the tops are all but obliterated. I grabbed the yellow paint marker and a Sharpie and start marking the sizes on the handles.

The boy comes over and grabs a couple of drivers that are already dry. And I see him doing this:

I couldn't have been more happy. I imagine for a lot of us, this is how it all started. I hope.

Now just keep supplying him with tools and cars. Addiction for life.

Mine did they with my tools several times over the years. Unfortunately that has not kept up. I hope yours does. 

Yesterday, our 5 year old grandson got to see Travis Pastrana jump a large gap in a bridge in the Keys.   Could be the start of an addiction.
