I friend of mine, in Piedmont, SC, needs some minor home repairs done. I'd help but I'm 9 hours away.
She has "a 99 or 2000 jetta. blown engine. body damage. Has acquired flat tires and one of (ex-husband's) friends cherry picked some engine parts. And (daughter) beat it with a sledgehammer when (ex-husband) left."
IF the car has ANY usable parts on it, I'm sure she'd be happy to trade the car for a couple small repairs.
