After a few years of every-few-months-for-15-minutes tinkering, I just took my Spitfire for a test drive and it seems to be cooperating. I guess I know what I'm driving to the meet!

And that was a fun, long day, as some of us first did the SCCA autocross in Orlando.
Time to unpack, shower and then start thinking about bed. :)
I am finally home, had to stop on the way home. Long, fun day. Great seeing everyone. Once a year isn't enough.
And fun caravanning over from the autocross site with Eric and Dinesh. It was like our own little Mazda parade. :)
We are getting close to the end of the year, anyone up for a pre-holiday meet up?
2022 - Plant Street Market in Winter Garden
2023 - Crabby Bill's in St. Cloud
2024 - ??
Where is Hobiercr when we need him?
Very short notice, but i have two arts in a gallery in St Pete. Reception is Nov 9th, 5-8?
Also, was thinking about this year's get-together today and yesterday. Lets get it figured.
I would vote for a destination in the Orlando area. That is about as central as we can get in the state.
I’d second Orlando-ish and somewhere with a nice place to sit. The locations for the past two years have been perfect. Can we schedule the same weather, too?

I second this.
Also, there are a lot of restaurants in the Orlando area that I have yet to try, so I'm game for just about anything.
For big groups, I prefer places where everyone can place their own order and then take a seat. That seems to cause less confusion and kitchen traffic.

Seconded
Is Sanford too out of the way? I was thinking about Henry’s Depot: various food choices, lots of parking, car-friendly.

Works great for me.

Oh I really like that idea, because it's close to home.
The food can sometimes be a little bit on the pricey side, but there are a lot of food options and definitely lots of parking.
(They also host a cars & coffee every first Sunday of the month.)
Henry's is 3 hrs one way for me, but I've driven farther to visit friends so I am good with it. Plus the food options look good too.
Should we start a new thread or keep this here? Wondering whether we get more eyes on a thread with a different title.
Henry's (and Sanford) sounds good to me. Not too far from Gainesville or Jacksonville. And 2-ish hours from Tampa.
I vote for a separate thread.
And a new thread for a new year.
