Alrighty thennn....
Can you start over and explain what you're wanting a little better then? Looked like spam. I think we're all a little confused.
Looks like MCON has no place on this board from that last post. Little man doesn't know what respect means. Maybe he should look up epic beard man on youtube....

So you're looking for a 2 door 3-series, yes? What price range? What do you want to do with the car?
I think you could get a LOT of E36 for that price, possibly even a decent E36 M3, but likely a CHERRY 328is.
If i were in your shoes, i'd be looking at 328is.
As for knowing where one is? Sorry... i'm in the wrong location and i haven't looked.

That wasn't really the problem... we just all thought you were a spammer. The internet hates spammers.
My 80 year old mother would still pass you in Her Grandma Maquis. Welcome aboard, the guys here have a lot of experience, have been where you are now, and have the best intensions when they say something. Most are the EBM of the grassroots car world.

I know who you are, and you're acting like an idiot for some reason. Last time I talked to you, you could construct a readable sentence. Usually my friends don't act like shiny happy people, especially on a public forum, with my name attached to them. This isn't your average forum audience. Most of us know each other, and are literate. Heck, we even share recipes.
Bring up firefox, go to www.crazedlist.org, pick the Florida locales you are willing to travel to, enter BMW in the search field, 2500 minimum, 7500 maximum and see what you get.
I'm going to put in a vote for the 1.8. Its a seriously good engine. I can certainly understand where you are coming from with wanting a six though, but I like knowing that I can drive a car to most of its limit and still be legal. Although I see that you currently have a Miata, so you would know all about that.
I'd suggest sticking with the 4 cylinder for now. Do some basic suspension modification, get some decent tires (no R compounds yet) and learn to drive it. You're still very new to auto-crossing, and more power isn't what you need. It's more fun to drive a slow car fast than a fast car slow. Down the road, your budget will allow the car to grow with you. You'll have plenty of money left over for an S52 or a stroker if power is your ultimate goal.
Also, stop by my house after school one day, and take a spin in the E30. You haven't driven one yet, have you?

I found that in about 12 seconds using Craiglook.com so I think you can do okay if you try.
You'll need to log in to post.
