A year and 35k later,  i cant tell that the continentals have worn any. Best tires ive ever bought.

And yes, i know its a zimbie thread canoe bump

The long term update is really helpful with these kinds of things.
My current daily has the DWS06s too and they're very good.
I have the ECSs on my Boxster and they are also exceptional but seem to be wearing a little quicker than I would have hoped for. That might be on me, theyre sticky and I know from experience.

It has been a while since I bought normal tires for a car, but my go-to brands are usually Continental or Kumho for truck stuff, and Kumho or Fire/Bridgestone for car stuff.

Admittedly, my car stuff has been a little on the traction-y side of what you're probably looking for.  Most of mine are usually pretty sticky.

I also very much agree with and support the idea of adding feedback to a thread like this.  So many threads that never show the resolution of the issue or opinions on the product.

Thanks Mike, you da man

My only real complaint about these tires, honestly,  is nothing.

For the application of a mileage sponge in the south, they do exactly what I need. Quiet, good wet traction,  great dry traction,  soft sidewalls for tar strips and frost heaves, wear like iron.

Cant comment on snow, cause we ain't had any.

Id reccomend to anyone for a mileage sponge appliance sedan.

BFG comp 2 A/S. I have them on both my Porsche and on my commutwr GTI And they are absolutely outstanding. Drive they feel like summer tires and in the rain they don't hydroplane at all and are rock solid. they are decent in the snow but I certainly would not buy them if I got a lot of snow here. They do perform great on sub freezing dry asphalt

Also very quiet and the GTI has 25,000 mi on them and the tires don't look like they've really worn it all. The ones on the course I have about 5,000 mi and look brand new still.

Steering response is excellent and never managed to get them to squeal. Ride quality is very good as well

Highly recommend them. night and day better than any other all season I've ever been on and better than most summer tires as well.

Plus they have a very aggressive looking tread pattern and look cool ')

I put these on my MS3.
On that car they were quite loud. Other than that, they might as well have been summer tires. They stuck like I couldn't believe and wore like iron.

The Sumitomo HTR Enhance I mention on page one went 86k miles with zero issues. Quite, smooth, outstanding traction in the wet, and surprisingly good on snow and ice.

Continental for me.  I have them on all my vehicles now and am very happy.

Especially the ECS on my Miata.

I was a Michelin Man for years.  I even sold Michelin tires when I was younger and had a set of XWX's on my '65 Mustang.   But their prices have gone over the top for value received.
