Miami?

No, Japan.

A Japanese enthusiast has a black Daytona replica and seems to enjoy posting photos on Twitter and Instagram.

I would 100% rock a Daytona replica. Reminds me of a GTO replica built on a late-model Z-car chassis I once saw for sale.

Japan has the coolest stuff on insta. From the over the top time attack cars to the Harleys to the lowriders to the airbagged Honda scooters

Dang. Thanks for sharing.

Also, I'm following a bunch of Japanese Miata owners on Twitter. Good stuff.

I wonder what the replica is based on.  C3 Corvette with some kind of applique around the windshield to hide the original car?

EDIT:  Looks like it's indeed C3 based from pictures and such I've seen online.  It looks like this car may have sold on BaT not that long ago.

Looks cool to me. A good replica does not offend me. (Provided it is represented as such)

And, yeah, I'd totally drive a Daytona replica.
