Over the past couple months I kept my eye out for one but no surprise they never appeared in my >$3k price range. I did find a wagon or two tho. I like the idea of being able to stretch out and take a nap in my own car

Maybe I shouldn't have saved you from the last time bomb! Granted, I didn't have a chance to really drive it, but I think the Saablazer may have had a shorter punch list!
There is something about that car, though. Love a manual Jaaaaaaaaag!

You are certainly welcome to it for $1,300!
I drove it to work today and nothing about that car endears itself to me. I even found a little dirt turnaround and kicked out the tail. Meh.

The total unicorn was the wagon with the stick. Everyone raved about it. Few actually bought it, however.
I'll bet that comes down to "few people wanted to deal with the dealer BS involved to actually get one".

Sadly, car companies don't make used cars.

Am I wrong in saying "car dealers suck to deal with as an enthusiast" is part of the reason some models didn't sell well? I don't feel like that's a controversial statement.
