I've found myself with too many carbs (who knew there could be such a thing). I have a bunch of Weber 32/36 carbs that I was going to start including with Toyota 22R engine kits and rebuild heads. Turns out, they're the mirror image of the 22R Weber (I forget the correct code), and are made for engines that have the intake on the left side. I must figure out what I can do with these while I figure out how to salvage my Toyota plan.
I was thinking about making up kits for BMW M10's, which these carbs seem perfect for. What do you guys think?
I think yes...go for the 2002 crowd, they love their M10s (I've sold three M10s in the last 2 years to 2002 race guys). All the more love with Webers...

Can you suggest a good outlet? I think I'm going to try and do a group by. I may not be able to gather up everything for the kits. Right now I just have carbs. No adapter plates, air cleaners, etc etc. I don't have a great stock of BMW parts. I might extend the option for a cam to go with the carbs. I've never sourced M10 cams, but I get pretty good deals on most engine parts.
Fab a quad manifold kit for SBC?
In reply to erohslc:
I want nothing to do with the SBC market.
I would love to have downdraft webers on either of my toys. One sbc, one small block mopar. Thay look absolutely badd ass.
Only problem is that I have grown to hate carbs more than red ants.
Other small block mopar guys may be interested though. No cool induction setups for them other than the six pack or unobtanium crossram.

I dont think 32/36 are any kind of a good idea for a small block v8 setup. 2 is too small, 3 is big enough but having 3 idle circuits etc is just goofy They're not suited to that app.

Spitfire and MG Midget(1500) have a manifold that takes that carb ...

OK 4 of them for BBC then (approx 2L per carb)

You'd need a manifold designed specifically to accomodate a carb that isnt really a natural fit for the app. I see it as throwing good money after a bad idea. There plenty of carbs in the sea. Just happening to be sitting on a pile of 32/36s isnt enough to make using them on a v8 a worthwhile idea, imo.
