Don't forget that hydrogen is mostly fossil-sourced, so the car's basically running on fossil fuels anyway.

Yeah, but, Hydrogen power is CLEAN. Besides being sourced from hydrocarbons like oil and leaving carbon (CO2?) as a waste product and producing the giant greenhouse gas water vapor, it's all Win Win.
