Tired of my kid asking what is this noise, that code? He has not found a reliable place to look at his gen2 so I am hoping this will provide some leads.
Sad, he keeps life supporting equipment working in a hospital but totally ignores his car. What did I do wrong?

What part of Pittsburgh or what area?
I have a guy, but he's in Mount Pleasant, that could be a 30 minute or 2 hour drive depending on the area you're coming from.
I don't know anyone in Allegheny County anymore.

I am over 3 hours from Pitts but between us there is this guy I bought off once that parts-out Prius. I really liked him and he seems like a GRM-kind of guy. He is then 1.5 hours from Pitts. It's likely he's sold parts into Pitts. I might recommend dropping him a note and saying.
"My son's Gen2 Prius is in Pittsburgh and he's looking for a reputable independent shop. Since you are not that far away, I figured that you may have sold parts to shops in Pittsburgh. Do you have any shop you might recommend that is good with Gen2 Prius knowledge?"

John thanks, he doesn't have the facilities or tools to do the work himself.
Rev, he lives in New Kensington so no your guy is a little too far away.
In the meanwhile I have a set of tires and battery waiting on his next visit in a week or 2. And just bought another gen2 missing the cat for 1500. So we may just be doing car swaps every few months.
