I have a Miata that I street drive to track events, so I have a very limited amount of space to carry spare parts.  What would you bring with you?  What are the common failures that I could fix track-side if only I had the right parts/tools?

Tools.  A front hub.  An axle.  Fluids.

So, throw a small tow hitch on that thing, and buy yourself a horrible freight trailer, if you haven't done so already. Opens up a whole lotta room for parts and tools.

And I would bring a full set of rotors/pads/hoses for the brakes, front and rear, spare axles for both sides, maybe a spare radiator hose or two, and some coolant, premixed at your desired ratio, power steering fluid and a spare resivior cap for it if you boil it over. That's just general stuff, I'm sure there's some miata specific parts you'll want as well.
