My radiator is leaking. I really don't feel like berkeleying with all the corroded trans lines and crap to the radiator.

I'd like to put in a new radiator and a trans cooler for ease of repair and because trans coolers are good to have, from what i understand.

I'm assuming that not all trans cooler kits are made equal. Which one do i want? I'm seeing some Hayden heavy duty ones in Rockauto, which would be convenient because that's probably where i'll end up buying the radiator, but if they're crap, they're crap. Worth grabbing a B&M from Summit or something instead?

Just threw that one on my XJ last week in preparation for the long tow trip down south. Also replaced the lines with new oe style ones but that was simply OCD and a probable waste of money.

Anyway it was a quality kit, though you could likely source a JY cooler and some rubber hose and do the same thing for $10. Your choice.

Also here is a shameless picture of my $500 cherokee:

I run the B&M supercoolers as well. No issues with them so far. Currently have them on the 89 burb and 1 ton dodge, but the xj is next.
