I think he races lemons with volvoclearinghouse.
Heyo. I chatted with him just yesterday over on the googles. He seems to be fine, just busy with non-car-related stuff. I'll let him know y'all's thinking of him.
He hasn't raced with us in at least 5 years, but he stays in the loop with our racing exploits and provides sometimes-valuable, and usually smart-ass comments.
With the age of his kids I expected him to duck out for a while. He's a very attentive dad and with the number he has running around that doesn't leave much energy to play with nerds like us. I'm sure he'll be back once the older ones get to driving age and he starts maintaining a proper family fleet.
Life is indeed very busy.
I was asked to serve as Trail Life ranger for the Woodlands group, (analogous to leading cub scouts).
I was asked (and recently installed and ordained) as a deacon at church.
I have adopted three roles at work, which used to be served by three technical leaders.
Routinely, my work with the house/kids/school planning has me with -0- free time until 11-12 when I crash and start again.
Thanks for thinking of me. I am fine in health, just working hard and getting stuff done. I haven't worked much on the truck, but it's still out there. It's coming. Stay tuned.
Love!

One of my favorite questions I get as a deacon - “are you one of the church deacons?” Yes.
Then I get a bomb of a question/complaint/request.
Once I had a guy tell me that the preacher man spoke too fast and could I ask him to speak slower.
This was a southern fire and brimstone preacher - good luck with that request.
