I've following along on this one, pretty nutty.....I can't think of anything fun it will fit in though.
He's also doing a turbo 1 rotor into a miata.

I thought it was for this dragster that he bought but maybe there is more than one 12 rotor?

This is why I almost never click on any automotive related YouTube videos anymore. Especially ones posted in enthusiast groups on social media. It's usually some jagoff trying to a monetize a channel and become an "influencer" and the frittatas of the world just eat it up.
It's become the same with "food reviewers" I saw a local one the other day. This guy is reviewing food with "I give this an 8.4" and he's never had a goat curry or a plantain or Ethiopian foods with berbere or a Moroccan tagine and other pretty normal foods. Well maybe not normal, but easy to find authentic ones even here in Oklahoma if you stay out of Chili's and Applebee's.
In what world do these people think they have any kind of credibility?
I have a lot of respect for Rob Dahm and the work he puts into keeping rotaries alive. He probably has more rotary knowledge than this entire forum combined. But yeah some of his videos are pretty thin on actual content. That said, I'm very excited to see a 2000+hp 12 rotor dragster.

Go to Google Gemini, add the YouTube app and tell it "summarize this video (url)". It'll give you a precis of everything that happens including timestamps that are links to the moment in the video. Huge time saver.
Here's a summary of the dragster video:

Team Boosted built one a few years ago. Sadly the channel up and died so no idea what happened with that project. It sounded so cool though!

Here's a summary of the dragster video:
- Rob introduces a new dragster project, designed to house an "absolutely one of a kind Extreme Engine" [00:05].
- The chassis is rated for 6.1-second quarter-mile runs, but Rob aims to make it even faster [01:28].
- The dragster was previously owned by several individuals, including the Carrier Brothers [02:07].
- The car was built around 2005, and has been sitting for about 7 years [02:28].
- Rob highlights the simple design of the dragster, noting the absence of complex suspension and the focus on straight-line speed [13:24].
- He plans to clean up the vehicle before making any major modifications [14:05].
- Rob discusses the transmission, a Powerglide or TH400, admitting his lack of experience with automatic and DCT vehicles [15:39].
- He mentions the possibility of extending the chassis length to 300 inches, which would allow for more modifications [17:22].
Nice.
I haven't played with Gemini yet. Just finished about 40 hours worth of certificates on Coursera for work that centered around ChatGPT using the GT-40-mini model and Claude and one centered around image creation. Of course, we have our own chatbot for work (for reasons of proprietary info going to an outside server) with two models, one is based on Llama 3 and I don't remember off hand what the other model we can use for ours is, but Llama tends to be more accurate/useful.
All the stuff we've been doing is more toward creating SOP, FAQ, pulling high points out of long documents/emails, you know boring work stuff.
I'm curious to the power output as well. Its old naturally aspirated life put out 1400hp.
The dragster looks like a good home. It was originally built for power boats but I think Dahm is more comfortable with wheels.

Using youtube to fund 12 rotor hijinks means pumping out lots of footage.
In reply to z31maniac :
We're actually using the Gemini tool to add our tech videos to our online knowledge base. Sure, we could just add the video as an embed, but it's more useful if you can also see a summary. So, work stuff :)

Does the title page have EXPLOSIVE IN-YOUR-FACE WILL WE LOSE THE SHOP graphics? You just clicked on a 27 minute long, 2 minute video.
You'll need to log in to post.
