Im in love........My wife would kill me, and I am in 2 states right now. moving from PA back to TX. WHY!?!?!?!
I believe that must be the same car that was built by a team out of austin and raced in $2009 challenge. I forget the team name.
$1 what kind of scam is that?
Someone else contact them so they have your email address and not mine and then report back.
there is a forum for the festiva, and there are a few guys with this swap. the wiring is said to be the hardest part. mechanically all the ford/mazda stuff of the era is somewhat like nissans/hondas in that it all sort of bolts up to each other with minimal modification.
The real question for this swap, to me, has always been why start with the 1.8 when its not that great a foundation and is somewhat rare and expensive to start with. Might as well go zetec or BP with an aftermarket turbo, especially given that most of the b6t swaps end up with aftermarket engine management anyway.

The 1.8 IS the BP.
This car has a turbo BP in it.
E36 M3. I was thinking b6t. I even said b6t. Not sure why I thought this one was b6t.
bp wiring is much easier.
carry on then.
