My good friend and LeMons co-conspirator Eric Rood (founder of The Rusty Hub) has replaced Judge Phil for this weekend's LeMons race: Doin' Time in Joliet.
The link below is Eric's BS inspection recap. There are TWO V6-swapped Geo Metros, one of which has a berkeleying brilliant theme.
I highly recommend reading it.

Lemme guess: You also moonlight by writing headlines for the National Enquirer?
Dang those look like real race cars. I have not been around lemons for 3 or 4 years. Looks like things have got a bit more professional. The 4.3 in the 924/944 is actually a huge improvement. You can get parts more hp and torque. That is a swap i have considdered for my 924s. Also i dont think the clutch is in the back if a 924. The trans is for sure but the clutch???
Race recap from day one. For some reason, a Ranger - swapped Opel GT leads class B. I'm baffled as to why they'd swap A Ranger engine of all things, but apparently it's fast.

Pretty, too. The theme looks like it is "german version of ferrari breadvan." If that's what they were going for, they did a good job.
