We are restoring an 87 Mustang SSP and somebody got a - little- over enthusiastic about the power. Whoops.      So I have a set of 15x9 black ten holes inbound and now need to find a rear tire with some more bite. Probably 275 50 15?     Its been a while but I used to see somebody somewhere post auto x take offs.

You can run 205/50R15s which is the Spec Miata size on those wheels, although it's a pretty significant stretch. 225/45R15s or ideally 245/40R15s would fit better but they're oddball sizes that are hard to find.

It should be pretty easy to find circle track tires in a 26x10x15 or 27x10x15 size on FB Marketplace
