Why not, it's theirs. Stick a frikkin' set of Mouse ears somewhere and see how long it takes Walt Disney's people to track you down. Or the local college radio station that played three hours of Sinatra music every Sunday morning. Ole Blue Eyes' "estate" took them to court, shut them down.
I'm glad the Miata is so nicely done. It would be too easy to ham-fist the thing in there just to get on with it. It looks like a quality job.

I am the new owner of the Jagzda as it is now known.
It is getting the hood scoop and filters because downdraft carbs like these hate dirt. Plus I like a sleeper.
I have driven it but the fuel was all over the place so the carbs are stripped and ready for cleaning and calibrating.
The guy did a great job he is smart and approached problems the right way.
But running those pups without filters was not a good idea.
Thought you might like to see the Webers on my vintage race Jag "filters removed"

OOOH, this brings back a long-dormant childhood memory for me. When I was 9 or 10, I had a book of "dream cars", and one of them was the Rolls Royce Merlin-Engined John Dodd "Beast". I was mezmerised by it; the sheer ridiculousness of it, the ugliness, that fact that it was a friggin WAGON. I wanted one SO badly (I gotta get on that). Maybe this is why I like M Coupes so much.

impressive....how's the handling? got any pics of the entire car?
About 10 years ago, there was a Bugeye Sprite (i.e. smaller than a Miata for you young'uns) with a V12 shoehorned into it.
It ran and drove, but the passenger compartment mean you had to be about 5 1/2 feet tall and weigh 98 lbs. just to fit.

OK I have rebuilt the carbs changed the venturis main jets and air correctors.
This guy was trying to tune the carbs with dirt in them and he was running the original miata fuel pump.
After rebuilding the carbs I installed a Holley fuel pump and now it is kick ass (arse)
It will be at the Turkey rod run at Daytona speedway this weekend.
If you have the balls I will take you for a ride.

Yeah, a Vega wagon that ran into the back end of the Griswold Family Truckster and got stuck there.

That is about as ugly as an automobile can be!
I like that he dug through the firewall rather than lengthen the nose with added sheet metal but holy mackerel, how far back is the transmission? Is the shifter in the trunk?
So many throttle-bodies...
