We all see vanity plates every day so out of curiosity are there any you love or loathe?

Love: an Alfa Spider that said "arachnid"

Loathe: 2fast4u.........on any car. Mostly because they are typically on something that isn't that fast.

There's an i3 near here with the plate ZIPPI3, which makes me smile every time.

I'm planning to get:

OTPHW

On my rx8.  Iykyk.  If you don't, that's probably because it's not that funny.

I saw this one at a red light last week. Did a doubletake to make sure I wasn't misreading.

My favorite was a Harley 883 XLX in Maine with the plate Ride Me.

I don't like ones that label the car it's on.

Like a 911 with a plate that says "PORSCHE"

I saw an MR2 Spyder with the plate ITZ BITZ. It was the greatest plate ever.

I thought that plate was Russian. Did anyone else see that Cyrillic b instead of the 6?

I had

NHYDRUS

on a Corvair. I thought it was clever. The most common comment I got was "50 shot?"

no, cocktard, it's anhydrous, meaning without water.

What about referencing the development project code?

Fifty years ago or so, Ontario carefully dipped its toe into the vanity plate waters, but you could only order one in the then-existing format of 3 letters + 3 numbers. Somebody in Toronto with (IIRC) a Corvette promptly got "FUN 401", Highway 401 being "the main street of the Province" and our local interstate equivalent.

After the rules were relaxed to allow six characters of whatever kind [you can currently get eight], I saw an R107 Benz with "WAS HIS".
