You can put an appeal for free ones out on Nextdoor.com or freecycle. Ask if people want to be rid of their old toys taking up space in the shed. Turns out they do.
But yeah, it's now proven that the sports cars with the narrow wheels seem to roll best, and beggars can't be choosers. So snag that Vette!

There is a local team in town I was helping until my shoulder exploded.
They now have a tube frame built, and the body will be AE86 inspired.
We are trying to figure out a way to rig up a thing to the throttle that will play BOV noises over a little speaker.
It’s silly fun!

I like that Koni and Redline oil both have their names associated with a race on toy cars that have neither suspension or use motor oil.
The control boards on the C5R vettes go bad all the time. Easy enough to find. Plus, they have rims and a wing and an LS engine that can be flipped after the fact for decent money.
