Are you getting boned in the back by your LS?
I machined my own barbell for the boosted LQ4 in my '61 C10. 5/8" aluminum bar works great.
I did not put an o-ring on the leading end of the barbell, as I wasn't convinced the o-ring wouldn't get sliced moving past the holes in the oil gallery, take a chunk out of the o-ring, and then have o-ring floating lord knows where.
The factory plastic jobbie is pretty sloppy.
Now I'm curious about what the original headline was.
